Ahmedy began his dance journey with urban styles such as hip-hop and breakdance.
In 2006, he discovered Salsa, starting with the Cuban style before quickly focusing on Salsa On1 (Porto style).
He refined his skills by training with renowned national and international instructors and artists, enriching his dance with a wide range of influences.
Driven by his passion for Latin dances, Ahmedy turned to Bachata Moderna in 2012, deepening his knowledge through various Salsa and Bachata festivals across Europe, where he attended advanced training modules with internationally recognized teachers.
From these experiences, he developed his own artistic identity, combining Bachata Fusion — a style that highlights musical interpretation — with Traditional Bachata, striking a perfect balance between modernity and authenticity.
In 2016, Ahmedy took a professional step forward in the world of Latin rhythms.
Together with several local dancers, he founded the group Latin Dance Evolution.
In February 2017, the team participated in the prestigious World Bachata Masters competition in the group category.
Since then, Latin Dance Evolution has performed at many major festivals in Belgium — such as Ahinama, I Love Bachata Leuven, QuieroBailar, and 10Dance Festival Gent — as well as internationally, including the World Congress in Marrakech, Adam’s Festival (Netherlands), Cologne Bachata Congress, and many more across Europe.
Today, Ahmedy teaches alongside his partner Caro, with whom he shares a strong artistic and pedagogical connection.
Together, they continue to train with top international instructors to refine and expand their expertise.
Since 2025, they have been certified Bachazouk instructors — an advanced and essential evolution of Sensual Bachata, characterized by its deeper musicality, fluidity, and expressiveness.
This certification represents a new milestone in their journey, reflecting their continuous commitment to the growth, artistry, and evolution of Latin dance.
